Description
Griffonia - a product optimizing the functions of the nervous system. An extract from the seeds of this tropical plant, combined with B vitamins, produces a synergistic effect, resulting in an increased beneficial effect on brain function and the sleep-wake cycle. It helps to eliminate dystrophy and reduce feelings of general anxiety and fear, as well as depressive states.
- Griffonia - a tropical plant from West and Central Africa, its seeds are valuable due to the content of the natural substance 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP). This amino acid is a precursor to one of the most important neurotransmitters: serotonin. 5-HTP molecules easily penetrate brain cells and convert into serotonin. Studies have shown that 5-HTP is as effective as synthetic antidepressants. This substance, together with vitamin B6, increases the synthesis of endorphins, commonly known as the 'happiness hormone', which are responsible for positive emotions and contribute to improving mood and restoring all phases of sleep to normal: falling asleep, light sleep and deep sleep. This substance has been used for many years in European countries to combat depression and improve memory. 5-HTP also suppresses stimulation of the appetite control center in the brain, reducing appetite, especially for carbohydrate-rich foods. In addition, this amino acid helps to cope more effectively with the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, such as: low mood, depressed state, tension, anxiety, emotional instability or irritability, which often appear in the last week of the cycle.
- Vitamin B6 helps maintain proper nervous system function and psychological functions. Contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Helps in the proper synthesis of cysteine and maintaining normal homocysteine metabolism. B6 also contributes to reducing feelings of fatigue and exhaustion. The need for this vitamin increases during the use of antidepressants and oral contraceptives, in stressful conditions and in increased emotional stress.
- Vitamin B12. Maintaining the proper level of this vitamin in the body depends on a wide spectrum of emotional and cognitive possibilities. It helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system and in maintaining normal psychological functions. This vitamin also contributes to reducing feelings of fatigue and exhaustion. At the same time, a deficiency of this vitamin can lead to the development of peripheral neuropathy, optic nerve atrophy, and degenerative changes in bone cells and the spinal cord.
Griffonia will work in cases of:
• depression;
• sleep disorders;
• neuroses of various origins;
• chronic fatigue and exhaustion syndrome.
