Emu sebum oil is a high-quality product, obtained through an extraction and fractionation process. Moisturizing properties of the oil result from its composition. The oil contains 70% unsaturated, i.e. very active, fatty acids. Emu oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid - a compound known for its beneficial properties - and oleic acid. It has exceptional properties: it absorbs quickly and penetrates deep into the skin layers, which is related to the significant oleic acid content. It is especially suitable for dry skin, providing it with moisture throughout the day, thus making it an ideal cosmetic product for dry skin care. As is well known, one of the basic drawbacks of every cosmetic product for skin care containing fat is its ability to clog pores, which causes blackheads. Emu oil does not clog pores and therefore does not cause blackheads. The vast majority of moisturizing agents exacerbate skin irritation. Emu oil not only does not irritate skin affected by eczema, but improves its condition and promotes regeneration. It exhibits a soothing effect, reduces and hinders the formation of scars, thereby accelerating tissue regeneration.
